Dr. Siddhartha Chatterjee did his graduation from Calcutta University with many distinctions, and passed D.G.O. and D.N.B. thereafter. He worked in the Institute of Reproductive Medicine & Research, a pioneer institute in this country in the said field, for 7 years. He was member of first test tube baby team in Kolkata in 1985, under Prof. B. N. Chakravarty. He left for UK in 1987, passed M.R.C.O.G. (Lond.). He worked in UK along with some training in USA for 4 years. Dr. Chatterjee has been working in the field of infertility for the last 28 years and at present, is the Chief Consultant and Director of Calcutta Fertility Mission, Kolkata, where all sorts of infertility treatments including IVF, ICSI, FET, etc. are performed. He was conferred F.R.C.O.G. (Lond.) in 2001 from Royal College, UK. He worked as extramural teacher of M.Sc. Biochemistry, C.U. between 1992-95. He is the Faculty of F.N.B. (Ind.), Faculty of M.R.C.O.G. Part I & Part II courses for AICC RCOG Eastern Zone. At present, he is the member of AICC RCOG Eastern zone. He has been invited on many occasions for delivering lectures in different conferences all over India, published many papers in national and international journals and has written chapters for text and reference books. He is conducting many research programmes in the institute.
Dr. Anjana Ray Chaudhuri
Dr. Anjana Ray Chaudhuri did her graduation, post graduation and Ph.D. from Calcutta University. She obtained her training in ART from different reputed Institutes of India and has been working in this field since last 15 years. Dr. Ray Chaudhuri is at present working as consultant embryologist and Chief of Laboratory services at Calcutta Fertility Mission, the place that offers whole Infertility work up including ART. She is also the visiting embryologist in a few centres. She has published papers in national and international journals.
Dr. Rajib Gon Chowdhury
Dr. Rajib Gon Chowdhury, M.B.B.S., D.G.O., F.I.C.M.C.H. and Ph. D. Fellow, is a gynaecologist by profession. He is a graduate and post-graduate from Calcutta University. He is presently, a Ph. D. student. He is involved in clinical activities for a long time and in research programmes for quite sometime. He has got a number of publications in the field of infertility. He is presently, the Chief of Clinical Services of Calcutta Fertility Mission.
Dr. Sandip De
Dr. Sandip De, M.B.B.S., D.G.O., M.S. (General Surgery) is a well-versed person, as the degrees suggest. He got his Diploma in O & G and practiced in the same field for sometimes. After a decade, he shifted to general surgery and acquired the highest post-graduate qualification (M.S.) in the same discipline. He is an important member of the surgical team of our Mission. He is greatly involved in academic activities of the institute, and published few articles in the field as well.
Dr. Debidas Ganguly
Dr. Debidas Ganguly, M.B.B.S., D.A., M.D. (G & O) graduated from Calcutta University and did his specialization in Anesthesiology and Gynaecology from the same university. Since the last 25 years, he has been associated with the specialty of anesthesia, specially related to obstetrics, gynaecology laparoscopic procedures, IVF and related procedures. He is a practicing anesthesiologist and gynaecologist, who have got keen interest in reproductive medicine. He has several publications in the field of reproductive medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and is also involved in the academic activities of the mission.
Dr. P. C. Jha
Dr. P. C. Jha is an important member of Calcutta Fertility Mission team of doctors. He is a physician and a critical care specialist in particular. He is a talented student of Calcutta University who did his Diploma in Cardiology, after obtaining M.B.B.S. degree. He then involved himself in extensive training especially in cardiology and critical care, along with different medical disciplines. He is efficiently managing patients like OHSS in ART programme, pregnancy with diabetes, severe hyper-tension and epilepsy along with the obstetric team. He is also involved in academic activities and published few articles in medical journals.
Dr. Jayita Rudra
Dr. Jayita Rudra graduated from Calcutta University in Zoology with honours and did her B.H.M.S. from the same university. She got her Diploma in medical laboratory technology thereafter from All India Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology. Since the last 5 years, she is working in the laboratory aspect of infertility, along with some clinical work. She is also involved in academic activities of the Mission.
